| November 11, 2010 6:00 AM

The Panhandle Building Contractors Association’s fall fundraiser dinner and auction was a giant success, organizers said.

The committee, led by Dan Hunt and comprised of Sean Gavin, Kris Owens, Kevin Kluender, Clem Hackworthy and Jason Coleman, did an amazing job at gathering auction items and laying out a fantastic dinner menu, Kris Owens, PBCA executive officer, said.

A portion of the money raised went to the Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity & Re-Store.

Owens said that, in these tough economic times, a special  “thank you” was owed to those businesses who donated items for the auction. “We would also like to thank those who purchased items, our auctioneer, Jonny Knight, and the Wily Widgeon,” Owens said. “Hope to see you all next year.”
