What are the benefits of dog parks exactly?
I’m curious. Exactly what are the “detailed benefits of dog parks” as Sandpoint Police Chief Mark Lockwood states? Also which “parks across the country” is he talking about?
Most places, actually, just fence off an area so the dog owners can deal stepping and smelling feces. Not to mention dealing with their dog fights, bites, sniffing crotches, humping shoes and peeing on personal belongings.
Really, a grant (is it federal?) for dog owners to pick up after their children (sic)? Doesn’t really matter. They don’t.
Perhaps new parents should be granted diapers when they visit the parks. Oh, that’s right, I haven’t seen any human baby feces or diapers on the walking/bike trail, or especially on the grass.
Finally, of course, those people waiting in line for Sandpoint Festival at $55-$60 per ticket loved having no choice but to wait by dog excrement.
