PONDERAY — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce recognizes Ponderay Garden Center as Business of the Month for their involvement and generosity in the community.

Now in its third year and managed by Kevin Mansoor, the Ponderay Garden Center has seen rapid growth which has been achieved through establishing a relationship with the community and involvement in many of the local activities. Michael states, “We’re not just part of the community, but a participant in the community.”

They’ve hosted a number of events, such as barbecues and pancake breakfasts. They have also donated plants and trees to beautify the Long Bridge and enhance local events such as the chamber’s own Health and Wellness Fair. Ponderay Garden’s most current project, and one they are deservedly proud of, is the $5000 “Free” Home Make-over that was given to a deserving local family.

The Ponderay Garden Center has also received national recognition by landing the feature story in the current issue of the Garden Chic magazine. “To be featured in Garden Chic is an incredible honor,” Mansoor said..

Greater Sandpoint chamber officials said they are pleased to honor Ponderay Garden Center as the recipient of the Business of the Month and wish them continued success.
