Constancy needed in area law enforcement

| October 14, 2010 7:00 AM

Why is law enforcement making headlines, but not fully addressing the crimes that are making headlines? Recently three very noticeable reported crimes have taken place.

A house on Pack River Road was emptied out completely.

A guy stocked a five year old.

Someone shot a moose out of season, and then admitted to the crime.

After busting members from a “club with outlaw elements?” “well known for its support of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club,” like the Republican party, the Democratic party, the local law enforcement. From what I have seen on the history channel the Bandidos, are a group that is supported by the drug trade they are a result of the “war on drugs.” Rather than trying to get more information, they did a military style raid to bring in a few guys and apparently did not find guns.

If these guys are at the center of criminal operations, then why haven’t the police managed to recover any of the items from the home on Pack River Road?

Police need to do more than just arrest child molesters. They should be proactive and teach children and parents how to react. Also it might not be a bad idea to do some patrols in spots where children go.

Lastly the issue with Jeff Jayne should be settled, people are being arrested over misdemeanors, yet this guy can confess to a felony, have it printed in the paper and nothing happens, how about some constancy?
