Amendment would hurt property owners

Homeowners and landowners beware — the proposed amendment reduces approval from two-thirds approval to 50 percent plus one. This means that those not owning anything get to approve tax increases for all of us that do own property.

The framers of our state constitution foresaw the problems with that arrangement. I urge everyone to vote, but be careful what you are voting for. I’m voting no.
