Helen Louise Fischer, 80
Helen Louise Fischer, 80, of Everett, Wash., passed away Oct. 17, 2010.
She was born Feb. 27, 1930, in Glendive, Mont., to Oscar and Alice Stubberud.
She graduated from Sandpoint High School in Sandpoint, Idaho. She met and married Clarence Fischer on July 15, 1950.
They moved to the Puget Sound area in 1972. Helen worked for Jumbo Foods for more than 25 years.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Clarence; children, Ron (Madge) Fischer of Joshua, Texas, Mike (Joyce) Fischer of Maltby, Wash., Joe (Ther-ese) Fischer of Marysville,Wash., and Joanne (T.C.) Groennert of Enumclaw, Wash.; her sister, Isobel Benda of Ponderay, Idaho; her brother, Allen (May) Stubberud, Irvine, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Becky, Dan, Michelle, Josh, Jeremy, Katie and Todd; four great-grandchildren, Keanu, Taylor, Kenny, and Brandon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bud Stubberud; and sister, Frances Domitrovich.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett.
