Candidate is proven leader and educator

| October 24, 2010 7:00 AM

When voting in November, please do not overlook the race for superintendent of public instruction. Idaho needs a leader who is dedicated to putting our children’s education first.

Tom Luna, the incumbent, is the first non-educator to ever head Idaho’s public school system. During his tenure, our state has dropped to 50th in the nation in per pupil spending. Our children deserve more than that from the state of Idaho.

It is time we put someone else in charge. Help us elect Stan Olson, a proven educational leader with almost 40 years of experience in public education.
