Stratton, Pagano lead Bulldogs to first win

SPOKANE — Kendall Stratton and Nichole Pagano each scored their second goals in as many games, leading the Sandpoint girls soccer team to an impressive 2-1 nonleague road win over Ferris Saturday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Bulldogs (1-3-2) picked up their first win under new coach Julie Pitre, as they continue to adjust to a new system. Bailey Scrimsher was solid in goal, registering seven saves, and the Bulldogs managed seven shots on goal.

Alicia Fishvik scored in the 25th minute to give Ferris a 1-0 lead, before Stratton equalized in the 37th minute and Pagano nailed the game winner in the 75th minute.
