Say 'no' to irrational hatred and fear
It appears that Karl Fuchs’ diatribe against the Quran and Islam is his virtual version of Terry Jones’ proposed burning of Qurans on Sept. 11 in Florida. I will take a wild guess and guess that Karl Fuchs is a self-proclaimed fundamentalist Christian. Since the issue at hand is intolerance I’d like to try my hand at picking out some choice scriptural verses, too.
The Bible also tells Christians not to tolerate any religion except Christianity. It exhorts Christians in many passages to kill anyone who is not a true believer. Exodus 22:20 states that “Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed”, Deuteronomy 13:6-16 and Deuteronomy 17:2-7 exhort the faithful to kill friends or family who worship a different god and to utterly destroy any cities where worshippers of other gods live and to stone to death anyone with different religious views. 1 John 5:19 says that Christians are of God and everyone else is of the devil while 2 John 1:7 states that non-believers are “deceivers and the anti-Christ” and Matthew 10:11-15 suggests a fate far worse than Sodom and Gomorrah for those who do not receive the followers of Jesus properly.
Christians have been killing unbelievers all over the world for many hundreds of years. One might say that it’s their religion and that it’s what the Bible teaches. You really shouldn’t believe what Karl Fuchs is saying because it would further his perverted religious cause. The Sept. 11 burning of Qurans (both real and virtual) is indicative of irrational hatred and fear. Just say no.
