Let those without sin cast the first stone
In his letter on the opinion page of the Daily Bee (Sept. 7, 2010) Mr. Karl Fuchs states “Muslims have been killing nonbelievers all over the world for many hundreds of years.” Don’t we wish that wasn’t true of Christians?
Mr. Fuchs also states: “You should therefore never believe what a Muslim says if it would further their religious cause.” His exhortation is based on his reading of the Quran.
I didn’t have to look hard on the web to find a long list of Bible verses which condone violence.
Examples:
Numbers 21:3 — And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities.
Deuteronomy 7:16 — And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them.
Psalms 110:6 — He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
“You should therefore never believe what a (Christian) says if it would further their religious cause.”
John 8:7 — Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
