If you care about the U.S., be sure to vote
Do you care about our country today? Is so, are you prepared to vote in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 2 (polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)?
If you plan to vote in person at your polling location, bring a photo ID. This is a new requirement. If you wish to vote by mail, request an absentee ballot at the latest by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27. Obtain an application for absent elector’s ballot by going to www.idahovotes.gov/VoterReq/absentee.pdf. This short application for, filled out, dated and signed by the voter, must be returned to or mailed to: Bonner County clerk, 1500 S. Highway 2, Suite 336, Sandpoint, ID, 83864. In case you are not yet registered, use the same phone number or general website.
If you decide to vote in person after receiving an absentee ballot, you must take the absentee ballot with you to your polling place.
Study the issues and all candidates. How did incumbents vote on issues versus what they say their intentions are now? Vote to preserve our freedoms.
