Post Falls sweeps Sandpoint

POST FALLS — Tori Bertsch had 20 assists and eight digs as the Post Falls Trojans defeated the Sandpoint Bulldogs 25-21, 25-23, 26-24 in a nonleague match at the Arena on Tuesday night.

“It was a well-fought match,” Post Falls coach Willow Hanna said. “The scores were fairly tight the last two games. Both teams served tough tonight and played outstanding defense.”

Ashley Jibby had nine kills, Brianna Friebe had five aces and Sierra Monti had three blocks for Post Falls (17-1), which beat the Bulldogs in five games earlier in the season.

Ariel Moe had eight kills, 12 assists and four aces and Blake Plaster had 16 digs for Sandpoint (4-3), which hosts Lewiston on Saturday.
