Poaching incident will be swept under carpet

It looks like the state has reached a resolution with Idaho State Police Trooper Jeff Jayne. I predict that this moose-poaching incident will be swept under the carpet and he will continue to be able on with his harassment of the good people of Bonner County.

Congratulations to the state of Idaho for not losing one of your major income-producing officers and keeping the courts filled with his cases, 80 percent of which are bogus! I guess it keeps the money moving out of people’s pockets and into the pockets of attorneys and the state.

I too have never been arrested by the super trooper or anyone else, but the stories keep piling up on this guy and he’s become a liability to the state. Once again, he has proven himself to be very careless and forgetful of dates.

This behavior is unacceptable given his position and costly to the public.
