We'll be left holding the bag on project

From the article in the Jan. 29 Daily Bee, concerning another lawsuit against the failed Idaho Club, along with the, let us say, lackluster performance of Dover Bay, does one beg to ask: Why on earth would our county government give the go-ahead to the Clagstone Meadows monstrosity?
Something the size of the former two projects combined. Sure, short-term construction jobs, (but what do you bet it’ll be some out of state/area contractor?). The county is left with a changed environment, negative impact to the current residents and to county services all for empty unsold structures and a developer back in Arizona with a nice much fatter bank account and us left holding the bag. A real pretty picture.
