McGovern Realty team joins Re/Max All Seasons

SANDPOINT — One of the longest lasting real estate teams in Sandpoint has joined forces with Re/Max All Seasons.

Bernie McGovern, Mike Roos and Jake Oliver of McGovern Realty recently joined Broker Randy Franz of Franz Realty of Heron, Mont., at the local Re/Max office. With the recent merger, the Sandpoint Re/Max team now has more than 100 years of combined experience.

“We couldn’t ask for a better group to become associated with Re/Max,” said Paula Kamp.

Bernie McGovern has lived in Sandpoint for more than 60 years and has been in the business of real estate for 41 years. He said he wants to maintain the reputation of a small personable office but have the ability to offer his clients more choices.

“We want to expand our exposure and our choices for our clients — both buyers and sellers,” said McGovern who adds that he has had a rewarding career helping people realize their dreams.

“Re/Max offers a small home town office with international exposure,” he added.

Mike Roos agreed. A Sandpoint native who enjoys working with his clients and sharing with newcomers the beauty and close knit community of Sandpoint, Roos said Re/Max seemed like the perfect fit for him.

“It is a boutique style real estate office which is something we also offered at McGovern Realty,” he added. “It has a small town feel yet we will be able to offer many choices to clients while still providing personalized service.”

Jake Oliver said that he is looking forward to joining the Re/Max team and is confident it will allow him to represent his clients in the same manner he did at McGovern Realty.

“My goal is to ensure I find the best fit for the client, whether it is a $50,000 piece of property or a $550,000 home,” said Oliver, who characterizes himself as one who does not want to pressure any of his clients. “I want to provide a relaxed atmosphere for people to seek and purchase their dream property and Re/Max has that small town personalized service and at the same time has a lot to offer our clients.”
