Sandpoint MMA fighters in action on Saturday
SANDPOINT — A host of Sandpoint Mixed Martial Arts fighters will return to the cage on Saturday, as 11th Commandment presents Living Guilty 4, Valentine’s Massacre, at the Wa-A Yas Community Center in Kamiah.
Sandpoint 11th Commandment fighter Lukas Carson (2-0) will face Team Nez Rez’s Stephan Heibert in the Main Event at 135 pounds, looking to keep his record unblemished.
Sandpoint 11th Commandment heavyweight Sheldon Cramer (1-0) will face Grangeville’s Anthony Ramirez, looking to build off a solid win in his home debut last month.
Other Sandpoint fighters in action include independent fighter Johnny Lee (1-0), and Soyer Swartz and Carl Jones, each making their MMA debuts. There are 16 fights on a busy card, sanctioned by the Nez Perce Boxing Association.
“The guys are all confident in their abilities and we’re excited to see how they do,” said promoter Jesse Eller. “The 11th Commandment guys have been putting in some serious training time and the independent guys seem really excited to make their debuts.”
Tickets are still avaiblable, with general admission selling for $15 and cage side seats for $25. Gates open at 7 p.m., with fights starting at 8 p.m.
