Now is not the time to stop supporting kids

Warren Buffett said the best investment one can make is to educate oneself. Since the approximately 3,500 LPOSD students do not have a say in whether or not their education system can sustain itself financially, let alone to what extent it maintains or degrades its current level of service, its up to us (again) to decide with our levy vote.

I can’t say I am necessarily happy with the many changes that my hometown has experienced more than my 40 years here, but I can say I am really proud that we have always come through for the kids when its crunch time. Even under the toughest of times (and as those of you who have resided here for any length of time can tell you, there have been other times as tough as these before).

Now is not the time to stop supporting the kids.
