Gutting program makes no sense

Ladies and gentlemen:

Doing away with kindergarten? In the famous words of John McEnroe, “You can’t be serious!”

Granted, this is a conservative Republican state so I shouldn’t expect too much. But I actually thought conservative Republicans were responsible people.

Cut, cut, cut is all you seem to know. Why not just do what a lot of conservatives would love to see happen anyway and shut down the government. Considering what you’re doing with it, just closing the doors seems a preferable alternative and would save a lot more money. At least that would end the pretense of governing.
