Yokes Outrageous Air Show on tap

SANDPOINT — Former Olympians and Canadian National Freestyle Ski Team Members Jean Marc Rozon, Steve Omischl and Brad Suey will be demonstrating their Freestyle aerial skills at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26. Both shows start at 6:30 p.m. and are free to the public.

This elite squad of professional jumpers will be joined by seven other members of the Yokes Outrageous Air team as they perform an hour long aerial extravaganza underneath the lights in the Schweitzer Village. They’re jumping skills and synchronization are unmatched as they perform double and triple twisting multiple flips, spins and jumps side by side one another through fireworks and fire.

Steve Omischl has competed in three Winter Olympic Games in the sport of Freestyle Skiing-Aerials where he represented Canada in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics.

Jean Marc Rozon is an Olympic Freestyle Gold Medalist, World Cup World Champion and a former member of the Canadian National Freestyle ski team. Rozon is one of the original team members of the highly coveted “Quebec Air Force.”

Brad Suey was a six year member of the Canadian National Freestyle Team and has been a professional freestyle ski aerialist for over 17 years.

This will be one dynamic weekend at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Meet the performers after the show each night in TAP’s for autographs and dancing.

The show includes fireworks and is located in the center of the Schweitzer Mountain Village.
