Again in the letters to the editor (Feb. 18, Daily Bee), there was one from Dave Dorland Jr. of Ponderay that claimed the Idaho State Police trooper involved in the moose case “got a free pass”.

Dave, don’t you read the paper or listen to the radio? At least go check the public records and you will find out that the trooper is not getting a free pass. It’s time to get off this wagon.

You’re just mad that you got caught driving when you were under the influence and had to pay the piper. This trooper is doing the same thing you did, paying the piper and you know something — he’s not whining about it.
