Kailang leads Wampus Cats past Tigers
CLARK FORK — Dimi Kailang scored a game-high 13 points, dished five assists and grabbed five steals to lead Clark Fork to a 48-27 win over Mullan in North Star League girls basketball Monday night at Clark Fork High School.
Zara Palmer and Celeste Komance each added a dozen to lead the Wampus Cats (6-5, 1-1 NSL), who held the Tigers scoreless in the first quarter, and Brocklynn Thornton pulled down nine rebounds and Tessa Vogel seven to control the boards.
“The younger girls did a really good job tonight, I tried to get everybody some playing time,” said cats head coach Dexter Vogel. “Dime and Celeste kid a great job of handling the ball.”
