Pepperdine, Belgarde notch pins against Bonners Ferry

BONNERS FERRY — Five Bulldog wrestlers picked up wins, but it wasn’t enough, as Sandpoint fell 51-26 to Bonners Ferry in the final dual of a tri-match including Lake City.

Justin Pepperdine (189 pounds) and Garret Belgarde (125) each secured pins, Mike Fowler (152) and Troy Goodman (135) scored major decisions and Peyton Dillon won by forfeit for the Bulldogs.

Sandpoint now turns its attention to the River City Duals, where teams from throughout the Inland Northwest will compete in a dual style tournament in Post Falls.
