McMahon leads Wampus Cats to win

CLARK FORK — Claire McMahon posted her first double-double of the season, scoring 12 points to go with 10 rebounds as the Wampus Cat girls beat St. Regis 57-29 on Tuesday night.

Tabitha Van Buren added eight points and Brianna Diffey scored six as the Wampus Cats (9-5) were able to play a lot of reserves against a short-handed St. Regis team, which played much of the second half with less than five players. Tessa Vogel grabbed eight rebounds and Zara Palmer nabbed five steals.

Clark Fork hosts Priest River on Thursday.
