Palmer steals show during Senior Night

CLARK FORK — Zara Palmer celebrated Senior Night in style, registering a rare double-double with 10 points and 11 steals to lead Clark Fork to a 43-27 win over Kootenai in North Star League girls basketball Thursday night in Clark Fork.

“She was excited and hustled with really aggressive defense,” said Wampus Cat head coach Dexter Vogel of his lone varsity senior, who also dished three assists. “Just a good job all the way round tonight.”

Brocklynn Thornton added 12 points, Celeste Komanec returned from an ankle injury to add 10 and Tessa Vogel scored seven to go with a game-high 11 rebounds.

Ana Parker led the Warriors with 14 points.

Clark Fork (10-7, 5-2 NSL) is at Mullan on Tuesday.
