You were a kid once, too

Supporting the levy is essential for quality education in Sandpoint. Public education in Sandpoint is really important. One day, a kid from Sandpoint might grow up and make a big impact on the United States. However, kids cannot achieve their full potential without the help of taxpayers. If this levy is not passed, it will cost kids the education they need to succeed. Kids from Sandpoint need education to grow up, find a good job, and support a family.

Without the levy every single student will not be guaranteed the attention they need to learn. One-third of the teachers will be cut making class sizes bigger. My teachers are amazing, and I hope young kids will be able to have the same great learning experiences as I have had. Extracurricular activities will be cut, causing kids not to be involved in band, choir, sports, and lots more.

I am a 13-year-old girl in seventh grade at Sandpoint Middle School. This school allows me to play basketball, tennis, and track. I am also involved in the school math club and play the trumpet for the school band. I really enjoy these activities. When I go to high school I would love to play soccer and compete at a statewide level. I love sports. They are a huge part of my life, and if they were cut from the schools, I would be devastated.
