Investment in LPOSD will not go to waste

| March 3, 2011 6:00 AM

As the school levy approaches on March 8, I would like to say thank you to all of Bonner County for continually supporting our local school district. I have taught at Sandpoint High School for the past eight years and in that time I have had the opportunity to teach and/or coach more than 1,500 young men and women. I love my job and consider it a privilege to influence and instruct so many students.

This is a difficult financial time in our county, state and nation so I want to take this chance to say thank you for investing in a quality education for the youth of our area. As one of many who are employed by the Lake Pend Oreille School District I count myself fortunate to work for you and I promise to continue to put my heart and soul into the work I do. I can assure you that your investment has not and will not go to waste.
