DUI suspect is arrested at pretrial hearing

SANDPOINT — An Oldtown man was arrested Friday for showing up intoxicated to a pretrial hearing in his drunken-driving case.

Court bailiffs suspected Todd Lynn Glockner was impaired when he arrived at the Bonner County Courthouse. His breath alcohol concentration was measured at 0.20, nearly three times over the legal limit, court records show.

Judge Justin Julian ordered Glockner held in the jail over the weekend. Julian advised the defendant that coming to court in such a state of inebriation amounted to a failure to appear.

Glockner, 46, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving following a traffic stop by Priest River Police on Jan. 23. His level of intoxication was measured at 0.16, which is double the legal limit of 0.08.

Glockner pleaded not guilty to the offense. His pretrial hearing is reset for Monday. A jury trial remains set for April.
