Rosholt picks up quick win with submission
OKLAHOMA — Former Sandpoint wrestler Jake Rosholt notched a quick and impressive win on the undercard of the Bellator Fighting Championships Saturday night at the Lucky Star Casino in Oklahoma, as he continues his quest to return to the UFC.
Rosholt (9-3) won by first round submission over John Bryant (4-4), who tapped out after Rosholt wrapped him in a rear-naked choke. Rosholt wasted little time in naming his next fight, as he hopes to keep winning and eventually join fellow Team Takedown fighters Johny Hendricks and Shane Roller under the UFC banner.
Roshlot will make his Texas debut on Saturday, April 9, when he faces mixed martial arts veteran Brandon McDowell (32-29) on the Xtreme Knockout 10 card at the Gym in Arlington, where Team Takedown trains.
