Who will speak for the unborn?

| March 27, 2011 7:00 AM

This letter is not pretty, it maybe should have a PG rating.

Do you think Christianity has made a difference in the world? In the days of the Roman Empire, Romans threw unwanted babies into rivers, where they drowned, or onto trash heaps outside of cities. They would be left there to die from exposure, starvation, or to be eaten by animals.

Christians would go out in boats, with nets, to rescue babies from the rivers, and they rescued babies from the trash heaps, took them into their homes to care for and raise.

Is throwing babies into rivers or onto trash heaps, to die horribly, much different from the extremely painful abortion method of caustic solutions being introduced into the womb? Sonograms have shown babies vainly trying to escape that deadly solution as it comes near them! Is the trash heap any worse than allowing a baby to be partially born, and then sucking its brain out?

America is facing judgment because of the millions of babies we have allowed to be killed. They talk about “the rights of the woman,” what about the rights of the innocent unborn  — who will speak up for them?

Christians should be “rescuing” unwanted, unborn babies by voting — “campaigning” — against abortion.
