Recall backers meet April 9

The petition drive to recall Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna will kick off Saturday, April 16, and will run for 60 days. You can read more about the recall at www.recalltomluna.org.

Anyone interested in helping collect signatures should contact me and attend a meeting on Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m.The petitions will be handed out at the meeting, which will be held at Ron and Linda Hunt’s home located at 536 Lakeview Blvd in Sandpoint.

You must be a registered voter to sign the petition so if you are not registered and want to sign or had a recent name or home address change, you must register to vote two weeks prior to signing the petition.
