Teachers brainwashing, not educating, students
There are two letters to the editor published on March 24 apparently from two young ladies both expressing dismay at new proposals by the State Department of Education.
Tom Luna was elected statewide to be in charge of the department and he has obviously roused the ire of some Idaho school teachers.
Consider the aforementioned letters: Both letters begin with the identical sentence. I quote “This letter is in opposition to Luna’s education reform bill.” The similarity of the two letters makes it all too plain that somebody was responsible for all of the thoughts expressed.
Could the teacher’s association possibly be propagandizing students or is it just some teacher politicizing a few gullible individuals.
I do believe the job of a teacher is to aid youngsters to think for themselves.
These letters make it very clear that the person or persons actually behind them is brainwashing the students not teaching them.
