Former Bulldog competes at Junior Nationals

| April 6, 2012 7:00 AM

Former SHS tennis player Dustin Pierce is making a name for himself this season while playing hockey for the Missoula Maulers. He has posted four goals and nine assists in 18 games on the season. The Maulers recently returned from the USA Hockey Junior Nationals in Minnesota, where Pierce scored a goal and an assist as his team beat New Jersey and Oregon, but lost to Minnesota, just missing out on a wild card spot.

The Maulers return home to face the Helena Big Horns in a seven-game American West Hockey League championship series, which starts on April 13 and wraps up the season.
