Buckmillers, Search lead Bulldogs against T-wolves
COEUR d’ALENE — Fresh off a championship at the Lake City Tournament last weekend, Drew and Micah Buckmiller showed they’re one of the top doubles teams in North Idaho, never dropping a game at No. 1 doubles to lead the Sandpoint tennis team to a 6-6 tie with Lake City on Tuesday in Coeur d’Alene.
Alex Hon and Talbot Callister also won in straight sets at No. 2 boys doubles, and Kennedy Search, also fresh off a title at the Lake City Tournament, continues to roll through her opponents, dropping only two games in a straight set rout at No. 2 girls singles.
In a show of the Bulldogs’ depth, they won both mixed doubles matches, which helped the team earn a tie.
The Bulldogs are at Lewiston on Thursday in another test against a strong 5A opponent.
