Trojans stop Bulldogs

POST FALLS — Sophomore Nate Gomer went 3 for 4 with five RBIs as the Trojans beat the Bulldogs in the first game of a makeup nonleague doubleheader Tuesday at Post Falls High School.

Post Falls (3-6) struck for five runs in the bottom of the  first, and allowed only three hits.

Ryan Schwartz had a double, and Justin Puryear and Jackson Olin each hit a single to lead the Bulldogs (1-4).

The second game of the doubleheader was called due to darkness with Post Falls leading 10-3 in the fifth inning.

Sandpoint is at Lakeland today, with first pitch at 4 p.m.
