Leadership in road issues appreciated

On April 16, I attended the Ponderay City Council meeting and public involvement meeting for the Draft Internal Transportation Plan prepared by David L. Evans & Associates.

I wish to applaud the city for its forethought in preparing this plan. The plan to reopen the Diamond Crossing, build a connector from Fontaine to Starr Lane going north and build Starr Lane north to Kootenai Cutoff will revitalize the whole area. Plus these proposed changes will open the way for off highway commercial growth within Ponderay.

Please join me in supporting the city of Ponderay in this endeavor.
