Wheeler needs to take feds' threat seriously

I don’t believe Sheriff Daryl Wheeler is taking the threat of the federal government serious and won’t be ready to help us if Obama is elected another four years!

At the debate in Sandpoint, I notified Sheriff Wheeler of five TSA agents that I personally have seen twice at the local train station while I was picking up friends working in North Dakota. His reply did not bring me any a sense of relief. His answer was “The railroad falls under the federal government’s protection” and he did not know they were here. This brings up way more questions then it answered and many concerns.

1. We are “at war” and, in my humble opinion he would at least have a car patrol the two times a night the train comes and goes or, better yet, train people willing to join a community watch and keep an eye out for the benefit of the sheriff’s office and community’s interest.

2. He works for the community. Does anyone remember voting to let the TSA in our county at all or can they just do what they want? Personally I feel terrorized like any move could be misconstrued and I will end up with someone’s hand up my private parts.

3) He said, “If they are harassing you call and we will do something.” Does he not keep up with the fact if they “do” something you can not call anyone! Ask Sen. Paul!
