Animal shelter is a wonderful facility

I have been fuming ever since I read the recent letter about the Panhandle Animal Shelter. Thank God somebody else is, too, and they have spoken up.

I have been a customer of the thrift shop since they were in their downtown location. When my granddaughter’s trailer burned down, they offered me everything in the store for her little 3-year-old girl, including following me out to the car with a stroller — all for free.

The store’s great, always clean, reasonably priced and I always take a walk through and visit the kittens, cats and puppies. It’s always clean, the dogs get their walk every day and the cats live in a cat condo.
