Overdue project enhances area

I was under the impression that the bypass was mostly for the benefit of the truckers trying to go north or south without having to navigate through town, not to enable people living on the perimeter of downtown to jump on the bypass so they wouldn’t have to go through town. It is a bonus for those of us living north or south to be able to bypass the downtown area when we aren’t doing business there.

This project was long overdue and enhances Sandpoint. I guess, like with everything else, there’s always dissenters.
