City's initiative will pay off for years to come

I just wanted to congratulate the city of Sandpoint for keeping the Neighborwoods program going. That the city has chosen to take the initiative in replacing and adding to the stock of street trees around town tells me that someone on staff is looking downstream.
In 50 years very few people will consider who planted all the trees let alone realize that it was done deliberately to make the town a better place to live and work for generations to come. Thank you. It is appreciated.
