Mud flying in the presidential election

The mud is flying in the presidential election. It appears that neither candidate wishes to run on his record. Let’s review some of Mr. Obama’s presidential record.

The Democrats passed the Health Care Reform Act, against overwhelming opposition by the American people. The Supreme Court ruled the law legal, they also ruled it was a tax. The last thing the American people need is another ever-increasing tax. The health care act does nothing to control escalating health care costs, as was originally intended.

The Democrats suffered a setback in gun control when the Supreme Court ruled against them on Second Amendment rights. Now they have Hillary Clinton drafting a U.N. small arms trade treaty. This treaty is gun control disguised as a trade agreement. This treaty must not be approved by Congress.

Then there was the Fast and Furious fiasco. The Democrats advocate gun control to fight crime. While selling thousands of guns and ammunition to the Mexican drug cartel, this resulted in thousands of deaths. Everyone involved in implementing this fiasco must be criminally prosecuted.

The Obama administration has done little or nothing to promote enforcement of the federal immigration statues on illegal immigration; in most cases their actions actually hindered enforcement. Mr. Obama’s record in this area is abominable and can’t be tolerated.

Mr. Obama’s record on the economy is disgraceful. He has done nothing to curb inflation, a major part of our economic problems.
