Paper needs to learn about the real Catholic Church

I am offended and disappointed that you chose to run the cartoon slandering Pope Benedict XVI in the Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, edition.

I think if you had a better understanding of the true teachings of the church, instead of what is reported by the media as what the church teaches, you would have made a different decision regarding that cartoon.

St. Joseph Catholic Church will be offering a course for those who are separated from the church, and those who want to learn more about the Catholic Church today. I invite you and anyone else with an interest in learning about the Catholic Church to come on Sunday, Jan. 13, 7-8:30 p.m.
