County bullying lessees

Bullying and threatening is a terrible thing to live with, especially when it is coming from a Bonner County commissioner and his underlings, the Priest River Airport Advisory Board.

We are being threatened with eviction in spite of the eight-year lease agreement that was signed a few years ago. Gestapo-like tactics seem to be the norm now by our elected officials. They talk a lot of trash to get into office, and once elected, it is all about power.

They plan to forcefully enter private hangars to inspect them. Not once have they even tried to contact the owners/lessees to ask if they could inspect the hangars. The rent paid by the pilots and hangar owners is the only income supporting the Priest River Airport.

At the rate they like to spend money, how are they going to make the budget once the pilots have been evicted? The expense will most likely be put on the taxpayers, as always.
