COEUR d’ALENE — Troy Goodman (132 pounds), Josh Allen (160) and Adam Weindl (171) registered pins for the Bulldogs, who fell 49-31 to the reigning 5A Idaho state champion Vikings in a dual on Wednesday night at Coeur d’Alene High School.

Peyton Dillon, Brandon Williams and Matt Lockey also picked up wins, as the Bulldogs ran their duals record on the season to 4-11. It’s been a season of steady improvement for the Bulldogs, who are beginning to peak at the right time.

Lockey is currently ranked No. 5 in the state in the 4A ranks, while Pepperdine and Dillon are both ranked No. 8.

Sandpoint is at Lake City on Tuesday in a tri-match with Lewiston.
