Bulldog girls looking to extend season tonight

| February 4, 2012 6:00 AM

SANDPOINT — The Bulldog girls have faced Lakeland three times this season, and each time the game was close before before a second half run would spur Lakeland to three wins.

The No. 3 seed Bulldogs (8-13) hope the fourth time is the charm tonight in a loser-out game against No. 2 Lakeland (12-10). The Bulldogs lost 52-41 on Tuesday, and will face a Hawks team playing its third game in five games.

The winner of tonight’s game will travel to face No. 1 Moscow on Tuesday, needing to notch two wins against the Bears to earn the lone state berth in the true double-elimination format.
