Tupper goes off in Thunder defeat

HAYDEN — Christine Tupper poured in 32 points in defeat as the Kootenai Thunder lost 59-40 to North Idaho Christian in a Mountain Christian League game at North Idaho Christian School.

Josie Soganski added four point for the Thunder, who outscored their opponents in the second and fourth quarters combined.

n Jensen, Silberman lead Thunder in defeat

HAYDEN — Taylor Jensen and Sam Silberman scored 16 points apiece as the Kootenai Thunder boys fell 45-42 in a Mountain Christian League game Tuesday at North Idaho Christian School.

On Monday the Thunder boys lost 44-35 to Immaculate Conception, and starter Ian Wheeler had to leave the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury. Taylor Jenson led the Thunder with nine points, Shayne Jensen added eight, Silberman seven, Joel Crosby five and Johnny Soderberg four in the loss.
