Why doesn't anyone proofread the paper?
Does anyone proofread the Daily Bee before it goes to print?
The following appeared in the Oct. 26 edition: On the front page: City candidates forum tonight, 6 p.m., at the Panhandle State Bank, sponsored by the Daily Bee. The “things to do” listed the time of the forum at 7 p.m. The calendar stated the candidates forum at 7 p.m. at the Panida, sponsored by the Selkirk Association of Realtors.
In the calendar listing for Saturday, Oct. 29, under new activities it stated there would be a dance at the Sandpoint Senior Center from 1-4 p.m. There would be no dance since these dances take place on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
The October NARFE meeting was listed in the same edition as taking place at the Elks and the Tango in the Panhandle State Bank building.
The Pend Oreille Chorale rehearsals have been listed for every Monday despite efforts to not list them during the off-season. The listing is now accurate.
