Last-minute shot lifts Dogs to win

SANDPOINT — Ryan Schwartz hit a shot in the lane with 3.8 seconds left to lift the host Bulldogs past the Hawks in Inland Empire League play.

Eric Cooper led Lakeland with seven points, and Adam Black finished with six points.

The Hawks (3-14, 1-3 IEL) host Priest River on Wednesday.

Jackson Olin led Sandpoint (6-10, 1-2) with eight points.
