Slow it down, keep it safe on the lake

Here we are again. Finally, sunny weather, and out come the knuckleheads with their boats and personal watercrafts without a clue as to the boating rules. I would like to thank the Bonner County Sheriff’s Marine Division for being there when you need them.

Yesterday two knuckleheads came storming Mach 2 out of Frye Creek and “bam” they were busted for being inconsiderate. Whether they received a ticket or not they came back in grumbling … but slowly.

The season is just getting started folks, so please try to control your wakes when entering or leaving areas of 200 feet or less from shore.
