Anonymous workers need to stop whining

| July 24, 2012 7:00 AM

I wish to address the small group of cowardly “anonymous” county employees, who trashed our elected commissioners, Daily Bee July 7, 2012.

Perhaps I am not the only taxpayer who thinks that you ungrateful county employees should own up to your bad attitude, stop being hypocrites, and quit your gravy county jobs.

That’s right resign, get up off your fat donut eating butts and come join us in the real world. Surely you remember us, we are the workers and business owners in the private sector that pay your salary, we face real job uncertainties (not just temporary furloughs), most of us make less money than you do, we work part time or sometimes two jobs to make ends meet, and many of us do not have any medical insurance, let alone a retirement plan.

Go ahead, show some spine, don’t let a lousy county job hold you back from your full potential of becoming the supreme know it all of the universe, and please do not fool yourselves into thinking you are irreplaceable. There are hundreds of county residents who could easily perform your duties and would jump at the chance to have a stable county job, with above average pay, medical and retirement benefits, paid holidays, paid vacations, and a climate controlled desk to set their donuts and coffee on.

P.S. I proudly sign my real name unlike those mentioned above
