It's nice to have official with moxie

Contrary to the complaints of Bonner County Clerk Marie Scott and her loyal faction of well-fed, “decades-old” public employees, I think Mike Nielsen is doing exactly what we elected him to do. He is serving the public and protecting the taxpayers’ money in a forthright, innovative and effective manner.

If he had joined their “goo old guys and gals” country club, he could have just kicked back, collected a paycheck and kept quiet. Obviously, he didn’t. This is what’s commonly called being a leader. Thank goodness, we finally have a commissioner with moxie.
